Analyzing the Impact of Remote Learning on Student Engagement and Academic Outcomes

  • This study investigated the impact of remote learning on student engagement and academic outcomes in Kerala, employing a mixed-methods approach that combines quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews. With a sample of approximately 100 students from diverse educational backgrounds, the research revealed a strong positive correlation between remote learning and student outcomes, explaining about 44.89% of the variance. Despite significant findings, the low R² indicates that other factors also play a crucial role. Future research should explore these additional influences and consider targeted interventions to further improve student engagement and academic performance in remote learning contexts.
